Day 1. Ha Giang city - Quan Ba district - Can Ty commune ( B-L-D )
After having breakfast, the group will depart from Hà Giang city to Quản Bạ district at 9 am, which is about 50km away. Along the winding road, you will enter the territory of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Next, you will pass through the Bac Sum Pass, with the mountains on both sides of the road. You will make a stop at Heaven's Gate to rest, have coffee, and enjoy the scenery. At this location, the whole group will have the opportunity to take photos of the entire Tam Son town from above, as well as admire the Twin Mountains of Quản Bạ surrounded by green rice fields.
We will then move to Tam Son town for lunch. Afterward, the group will move together to Lùng Khúy village and start a hiking, with a total round trip distance of 4km, to visit the Lùng Khúy cave for about an hour. The next destination is the traditional weaving village of Lùng Tám, where you will learn about how the local H'mong people weave linen and make traditional clothing of the H'mong ethnic group. A few kilometers from the weaving village is the spot of Bát Đại Sơn, where you can once again admire the stunning beauty of Quản Bạ district. Around 4 pm, the group will arrive at the homestay in Cán Tỷ to drop off their belongings and walk about 2km to the Lonely Tree (Cay Co Don), which is approximately 250 years old.
In the evening, the group will enjoy a meal at the homestay, then have a rest and prepare for the next day of the journey.
Day 2. Can Ty - Tham Ma - H’mong King Palace - Lung Cu - Nho Que - Dong Van ( B-L-D )
After having breakfast, the group starts their journey from homestay Can Ty to Tham Ma, at 8am. Along the long uphill roads, the group stops to admire the scenery and check in at Tham Ma Pass - one of the most beautiful slopes in Vietnam, approximately 5km long, located on Highway 4C from Ha Giang city to Meo Vac, at an altitude of 1500m above sea level. Next, you will move an additional 20km, and you will stop at Vua Meo Mansion, which is over 100 years old and valued at over 150 billion VND. You will listen to the tour guide's stories about the history of the H'mong ethnic group and the legends of the Meo King Palace. After learning about the history of the Meo King family mansion, you will go to Lung Cu commune to reach Lung Cu Flag Tower - the northernmost point of the country, with over 400 steps to observe the largest flag in Vietnam and observe the view of the China border, about 3km away.
We will stop at Dong Van town for lunch, and then you will travel from Dong Van town to Ma Pi Leng Pass, about 18km away. To explore Tu San canyon, you will descend to the Nho Que River from the location of Ma Pi Leng Pass, which takes about 30 minutes. The boat tour on the Nho Que River will last for about 50 minutes.
In the evening, you will have dinner and enjoy music in Dong Van town.
Day 3. Dong Van - Meo Vac - Mau Due - Du Gia ( B-L-D )
After having breakfast in Dong Van town, we will return to Ma Pi Leng Pass to reach Meo Vac town, which is 4km away. Here, you can see the traditional houses of the H'mong ethnic people, built closely together, along with crafted stone gates. Connecting Meo Vac town and Mau Due commune is Sa Ly Pass, from there you can easily observe the M-shaped curve. Besides the picturesque mountains on both sides of the road, you can also see children from ethnic groups wearing traditional costumes, carrying baskets filled with food on their backs, and with bright smiles on their faces.
In Mau Due town, you will enjoy a lunch. Afterwards, the group will stop to admire the scenery and have coffee in Lung Ho town. Finally, you will travel from Lung Ho to Du Gia valley, where have more than 17 different ethnic groups and over 600 households reside. There are a lot of streams, lakes, and waterfall in Du Gia, making it become a great place for swimming in the summer.
In the evening, you will return to a homestay in Du Gia to savor local dishes, sing karaoke, enjoy Vietnamese local wine, and rest in preparation for the final day's itinerary.
4. Du Gia - Can Ty - Ha Giang ( B-L )
After having breakfast, the group say goodbye to the host family of the homestay and head to Duong Thuong commune in Yen Minh district, a village that still retains its rustic and charm, with vast fields on both sides of the road, where local people have been cultivating for many generations.
After a 50-kilometer journey from Du Gia commune, the group will stop for lunch in Can Ty commune before heading towards Thai An-Thuan Hoa to return to Ha Giang City.
The tour will end about 4:00-4:30pm in Hagiang city and then get ready for the bus heading back to Hanoi or travel to other cities.
